🎉 Happy 15th Birthday to our Workshop Boss, Snoopy! 🐾🎂🎉🎉

Today we’re celebrating the heart and soul of Proport our beloved workshop dog, Snoopy, who turns 15 years young today! 🖤🤍

Snoopy isn’t just our workshop dog he’s the first friendly face that most people see when they walk through our doors. Over the years he’s greeted countless customers, made friends with neighbouring businesses, supervised the guys in the workshop, accepted plenty of pats, got into plenty of mischief, made many laughable moments and completely stolen everyone’s hearts.

If you’ve ever visited us, chances are you’ve been welcomed by Snoopy before you’ve even said hello to us!

He’s a huge part of the ProPort family, and today he’ll be getting absolutely spoiled with all his favourite treats, pats, and birthday love—because he deserves nothing less.

TD42T block work done the right way , first up dry sleeves removed and parent bores dychecked , usually if theses engines are over heated they will crack patent bores between cylinders about 50mm down from the deck . We have put 4 sleeves in blocks before to repair cracks this one only got one in No.4 . Dry sleeves in this block were a little loose so we have been supplied with .010” o/s back liners to get the sleeve fit right again , we usually fit these to blocks that have had hydraulic lock problems ( water ) where the bores tend to balloon . Block deck and counterbore for the liner fl**ge machined . Semifinished dry liner fitted and bored to suit piston . Job finished and ready for honing
