Stage 1 of Neil’s Torana sorted. Most of the steelwork had already been completed prior to coming in. I just had to fine tune a few things, strip the 12 year old epoxy off the panels which were surprisingly clean underneath, re epoxy, filler work & prime.

It’s going back for Neil to sort a few things then will come back for paint when ready.

Ho ho ho, Here we have a little Datsun roadster owned by Santa himself!

It was delivered to Fehrings Bodyshop from the North pole (Ballarat is close enough sometimes) to help make the new rear wheels fit by making some flares (inner & outer) from scratch, also repair some rust which inevitably would have caused trouble in the future, and in the process found some previous crash repairs that needed extra attention.

Now Santa will have his motor sleigh back in time for the big day, if you happen to be in the Ballarat area around christmas give him a wave!

The latest project is Murphs LX torana, There has been plenty of rust repairing going on here, I only put up 63 of the near 500 photos taken so far in the restoration of the body, just need to get the doors sorted and we'll be laughing!

Heres a recent sill replacement on a HG ute for #1 customer. All patch panels were fabricated in house and with the lend of PFEs equipment as my folder and roller weren’t big enough for the sills. Rare spares sills were supplied for the job but I made the decision not to use them due to poor quality of their manufacture.
