And installing a 36hc batescrew pump after a fresh rebuild after waiting around 5 months for the ground to dry out to have crane access to site. A 220 tonne crane to lift the pump in, pump weighs around 9.5 tonne

Couple of trips to Hilston NSW.
One from a few weeks ago loaded with valves, pumps, pipes and everything to make the jobs happen.
And the guys loaded ready to head off again tomorrow going to Hillston, Mount View (between Rankin Springs and Griffith) and Belvedere (between Darlington point and Narrandera) loaded with footvalves, more pumps and more pipes

Footvalves need maintenance as well. 2 of the 3 footvalves removed recently have sucked themselves in from the screens being covered in algae or weeds

55KW 2 pole direct coupled pump removed from karadoc for a overhaul. Suction got some modifications to try and keep the footvalve out of the mud while still keeping as much submergence as possible

J&G Maintenance are looking for 2x people to join us on a casual basis ASAP

-For the right person this could lead to a permanent position.

-Welding experience would be an advantage but not essential

You would be assisting in the following
-Installing new and rebuilt turbine/axial flow pumps
-Rebuilding irrigation pumps
-Rebuilding electric motors
-Repairing river site infrastructure
-Repairing footvalves
-Re-aligning turbine/axial flow pumps
-The list goes on

There would be a possibility you would need to spend a few nights away with a generous living away from allowance and accommodation paid for
