🔧 Rough Idle? We Found the Problem!

This vehicle came into the workshop with a rough and uneven idle. After carrying out our diagnostic checks, we traced the issue to a damaged intake manifold.

Once removed, the damage was clearly visible — the manifold had a crack/damage that was allowing unwanted air into the intake system and affecting engine operation.

🔍 Diagnosis: Damaged intake manifold
⚙️ Symptom: Rough/unstable idle
🛠️ Repair: Intake manifold replacement required

Another example of why proper diagnostics are important — the cause of a rough idle isn’t always immediately obvious!

Years of dirt, dust, leaves and organic debris built up on the evaporator. This is sitting directly in the path of the air you breathe inside the vehicle.
