Well it's been nearly 12 months since the last post so time for another "words of wisdom" update..
I'm good, but I'm not a magician..
We all know it's hard , and can be expensive, keeping a car on the road..with the cost of fuel and insurance, rego and parts and all the other bits and pieces needed to keep that love of your life running sometimes a few shortcuts need to be taken, but whatever you do, don't take shortcuts on safety, bring it to me , or any other mechanic, and have it checked over at least once a year...best advice I can give..

There's nothing like that feeling of sitting in a carpark ,or on the side of the road ( with the car not starting) and thinking, I meant to do that weeks ago...
If your cars battery is getting old and you know it, do something about it now, don't wait till it's too late and you end up calling me out to get you going again..it's your time that's being wasted, not mine.

Just to make your day heres a couple of tyre specials that have to go..
1 set (4) 255 60 18 road tyres to suit hyundai tucson and others. $500

2x 245 40 17 tyres, holden, ford and others $125@.

Pick them up and have them fitted at your tyre shop..

All tyres are brand new and purchased for customers that didnt show..so your the winner..wholesale prices.

I had a plan..and it was a simple plan. .
Provide to the general public the kind of service i looked for in a workshop. .
Cheap, no bu****it, use second hand (good) parts where possible and be honest..
It's now been 5 years and guess what..the plan is still the same. .
It worked then and still does..
If you have a problem with your car, ask.
Answers are free..and if I can help you out and keep your beast on the road and in a safe condition..then it's a win for us both..Here's to the next five years..

I can think of nothing more unappealing or unprofessional than a business that, managers,owners or ceo's ,think that the best way to get business is to tell everyone how good their service/ product is and then slander and or bashes the oppositions products/services...
And this is a constant trend amongst Australian businesses...
Well here at Battery Warehouse we sell batteries..
We sell Century Batteries..
We have ,over the last 15 years, sold a lot of different batteries from a lot of different manufacturers. .and they were all good..no problems, no dramas, just your standard everyday run of the mill batteries. .
And why do we sell Century Batteries now.??..simple, we get a good $ return from every one we sell and i don't have delivery problems from Supercheap and if they stuff up, well the returns policy from Supercheap is excellent..(and they look pretty in yellow and blue)..
Apart from that they are just a battery, so forget the hype and forget the bu****it advertising...
Whatever battery you have in your car, if it's old......REPLACE IT...
But you gotta admit, they do look pretty...Mark.

In light of the current situation i have made the decision to close the workshop to the public immediately until this health crisis abates.
Roadside breakdowns and battery fitting will still be available.
No apologies..my health and that of my family comes first..
I will re-open the workshop at a later date.
