Already running a BF engine, we stepped it up into a serious street weapon with the following:

Jackson’s FG XR6 started life as a non-turbo… but it certainly didn’t leave that way. 😈🔥

This one came into the workshop for a full turbo conversion and has now been completely transformed — no factory N/A components left in sight. Just a proper street weapon. 💪

We started with a solid N/A base and built everything to handle serious boost:

Engine build:

• Mahle forged pistons
• H-beam conrods
• Head studs
• Valve springs
• Oil pump gears & backing plate
• Heavy duty timing chain
• Billet crank sprocket
• Cut-ring head gasket

Transmission:

• Freshened turbo-spec ZF auto

Diff & driveline:

• M86 turbo L*D
• Upgraded driveshafts

Supporting mods:

• Turbo upgrade with internally gated ported rear housing
• Full turbo-back exhaust
• 1150cc Bosch injectors
• Walbro 460 in-tank fuel pump

• Upgraded throttle body elbow
• Turbo side intake & battery relocation

• Custom transmission cooler with fan
• Race catch can system
• Custom engine & transmission dyno tuning

Once everything was dialled in on the dyno, this build came alive producing a serious 426rwkW on 98 octane at 20psi. 🚀

Dane’s BF XR6 Turbo ute came in for our Stage 4 B-Series package and a serious all-round upgrade!

We carried out the following:

After a full setup and calibration, this BF is now dialled in and ready to perform reliably with serious power on tap, finishing with 371rwkW on 98 octane

Adrian’s super clean BF XR6 Turbo came to us needing some major repairs, upgrades and a fresh tune.

After suffering a blown head gasket, Adrian was told by multiple workshops that the engine couldn’t be repaired and would require a complete rebuild. Instead, he trusted us to inspect it properly and get it back on the road.

Already fitted with the usual bolt-ons and supporting mods, we carried out the following:

✅ Cylinder head recondition
✅ Cut-ring head gasket
✅ Performance valve springs
✅ Head studs
✅ Timing chain kit
✅ Oil pump gears & backing plate
✅ 4” dump pipe & high-flow cat
✅ 45mm external wastegate kit

After putting it all back together and dialing in the tune, it finished with a healthy 358rwkW on 98 octane. Another Barra saved and back where it belongs.

Another tidy BA XR6 Turbo tuned up! 👌

This one rolled in with the usual bolt-ons and an FG rotating assembly. After some time on the dyno, it left making a healthy 360rwkW on 98 octane. A tough, reliable street combo with plenty of punch.

Kirk's FG-X sprint! Kirk originally dropped this immaculate sprint off with a hurt motor (bent rod) after being tuned elsewhere. His original goal was around 500rwkw with a gtx3584/built motor/stage 2 zf combo. Whilst assembling his freshly machined engine, Kirk called us and decided he now wanted 600rwkw. A quick pull down of the fresh engine to change a couple of things around, he then called us again and decided he wants a lot more than 600rwkw. After realising he wasn't quite sure what he wanted, we got to work, sorting out an absolutely killer combo for him, making sure we met and exceeded all of his goals.

Bennys bf xr6 turbo back in for its next round of mods! Previously making 540rwkw with one of our built motor & gtx3584 packages, Ben decided it was time to turn it up a notch with a goal of around 1000hp.
