Light Vehicle Mechanic x2 required

As a Light Vehicle Mechanic based in our Prestons Automotive Workshop, no two days will be the same as you become a key component in helping to provide quality and professional servicing, repairs and maintenance to our clients and customers.

Your duties will include but not be limited to:

• Provide routine servicing on our customers vehicles, as well as our own vehicles and equipment

• Perform defect repair work on a variety of vehicles, including troubleshooting mechanical problems

• Accurate and timely completion of job cards and client specific paperwork, detailing repairs, servicing and defects

• Attend breakdowns and callouts in a timely manner

• Maintain safe working conditions and adhere to work health and safety standards

Skills And Experience

• Light vehicle mechanical trade (or similar)

• Valid drivers licence

• 1+ years experience in a similar role

• The ability to work under pressure in a fast paced environment

• Clear communication skills; both verbal and written

• The ability to work unsupervised and independently, as well as in a team

• Excellent attention to detail, organisational and time management skills

• A professional approach to their work

Heavy vehicle Mechanic required x2

Due to company growth, we're looking for a driven and enthusiastic heavy Vehicle mechanic to join our team.

The Role

• Perform repairs, maintenance and inspections on trucks, trailers and associated equipment.

• Accurately identify, diagnose and repair faults

• Onsite servicing and breakdowns

• Liaise with customers

• Compile all paper work and documents accurately

Skills and experience:

• Trade qualified and significant prior experience as a mechanic

• Current NSW Drivers Licence

• Truck Licence - Highly Advantageous

• Experience working with vehicles of all makes and models - Highly Advantageous

• Own tools and transport

• Great attention detail

• Strong organisational skills

• Available to work overtime when required

• A positive and motivated attitude!
