KEEPING COOL IN YOUR CAR. 💨 Making sure you have your car air con working efficiently not only helps save money, but also helps protect the environment.

If your car air con isn't cooling as it should it may be losing refrigerant, emitting fluorocarbons into the atmosphere.

This is why 'topping up' or refilling gas is not allowed unless first tested for any leaks, and any leaks detected are repaired, as stipulated by the Australian codes of practice for refrigerant handling.

It is this reason that only Australian Refrigeration Council (ARC) licensed technicians can legally handle fluorocarbon refrigerants. So always check to make sure your car air con is being looked after by a ARC licensed technician.

Introducing The MARC, a 14yr old punk rock band from Pottsville & winners of the 2023 Murwillumbah Youth Festival Battle of the Bands. Playing this Saturday April 13th as one of the main acts at the 2024 Murwillumbah Youth Festival. C'mon down for a fun day of events & music!

"Hailing from Pottsville and proud Tweed Coast locals, The MARC is made up of Miki on drums, Abe on guitar, Reuben on bass, and lead by the powerhouse vocals of Chelsea. Together they spell The MARC! They jam at Yodelay music in Caba with their awesome teacher Benny Whiskey!

The MARC started when they were all in year 4, only 9 years old, and they’ve been playing together ever since. Back then they only played covers. Drawing on inspiration from iconic punk rock bands like Green Day, Blink 182, & No Doubt, The MARC bring salt and pepper, a bit of spice and lots of fun to a performance guaranteed to get you moving!

They have started to swap the covers with originals and have just finished writing their 5th original ‘Shut your mouth’. They have recently spent time in the SAE Byron studio recording their original ‘Siren Song’, an amazing opportunity, all thanks to the Murwillumbah Youth Festival Battle of the Bands 2023 prize.

They love performing and entertaining people with their originals. So keep your eyes open rockers as The MARC work to climb the charts and continue to assault your ear drums with their bussin’ punk rock sound. Check them out and make sure you follow them on insta at 🤘"
