After purchasing a basic shed and many renovations later, Serges Crash was born. The early days were very tough, and many long hours were spent building up the business. This continued o
n for some years until the partnership was dissolved and Serge continued on building the business to what it is today. Serge gives credit to his long-term employees Sandra Audoss and Glenn Key who helped contribute to the business' success, along with long-term workshop employees Mathew, Randall & Reggie, the junior staff and all the public support over the past 45 years. The business, in its journey as a crash repairer has picked up numerous preferred repairer awards, dealing with all insurance companies and also becoming a prized RAA approved repairer. The journey has not always been smooth sailing, with many highs and numerous setbacks over the years, such is experienced by many small businesses. In 2015 tragedy struck, with a massive fire destroying 50% of the crash and paint shop which set the industry back six months and almost crippled the business financially. Thanks to community support, along with the patience, loyalty and hardworking staff, the business managed to pull through this near catastrophe and is prospering 5 years later. As 2021 rolls around, Serge is selling up and passing the reins over to new owners Bailey Heinrich and Kali Rodda, who will continue to trade as "Serges Crash Repairs". Bailey & Kali; along with the rest of the team, are excited to continue providing the quality and friendly service Serge is renowned for.
