We have a permanent full time position available as a service advisor at a busy diesel mechanic business in Port Macquarie

The workshop is a family run business and strives for work life balance

The position is for:
⁃ Automotive Service Advisor
⁃ Experience in the mechanical industry with strong mechanical knowledge
⁃ 5 days a week, hours are 7am - 4pm with overtime available if wanted but not necessary
⁃ Exceptional organisational skills
⁃ Ability to problem solve
⁃ Able to interact with both customers and the workshop to ensure smooth and efficient service operations
⁃ Ability to use Microsoft office
⁃ Ability to use workshop software (but not mandatory)
⁃ Immediate start available
⁃ Able to work in a team environment and by themselves where required
Key Responsibilities:
• Greeting customers in a friendly approachable manner
• Able to provide accurate vehicle quotes and options alongside cost estimates
• Prepare and accurately explain invoices to customers
• Interacting with the workshop and parts department to ensure jobs run smoothly
• Communicate clearly with customers regarding their vehicles status
• Experience workshop software - but not mandatory
