This is what a normal race day at Port Lincoln actually looks like. No fascinators required, no form guide needed. Just mates on the lawn, a cold drink and a few hours where nothing else needs your attention.

Next one is Sunday 25 October, our Lincoln Mowers and Motorcycles Family Fun Day. Entry is free when you register online.

POV: you own a racehorse.
Well, a slice of her... and this is the cherry on top moment!

But really, owning a racehorse is about a whole lot more than the win. It's the weekly updates from the stable, trackwork breakfasts, stable tours, race day hospitality and a summer of catching up with your mates over something you all share.

That's the Lincoln Local. This season our horse is Divine Fire, and your share includes a full PLRC season membership. Shares from $345 for the season, and members get $100 off.

🏇 GOOD SPORTS. GREAT COMMUNITY SPIRIT. $4,000 BACK INTO LOCAL SPORT! 💙

Our Sportsbet Hobby Horse Race at the Sutton’s Cleaning Services Season Launch on 4 October was all about having a bit of fun for a great cause! 🎉

We were proud to give local sporting organisations the opportunity to raise funds for their clubs, with $4,000 going straight back into grassroots sport across our community. 🙌

A huge thank you to the Port Lincoln Football League Umpires, Burra Football Club, Waybacks Cricket Club and Marble Range Football Club for saddling up, getting involved and being such great sports!

It’s initiatives like these that show what community sport is all about — bringing people together, having a laugh and supporting the clubs that make our region so special. 💙

Thanks to Sportsbet and everyone who helped make it happen!
