Markets are baaaaack! The Wedge Street Footpath Markets on on this Sunday from 8 am. Enjoy the beautiful weather in Port Hedland while you browse the markets. Have some morning tea in the cafes downtown or take the kids to play at Marrapikurrinya Park.

The first Staircase to the Moon for 2021 is upon us.

Staircase to the Moon is a natural phenomenon which occurs when a full moon rises over exposed tidal flats.

The Staircase to the Moon happens 3 times a month between March and October

The awesome natural phenomenon that is the Staircase to the Moon is on again this weekend.
Saturday 6th June 6.04pm
Sunday. 7th June 7.01pm
Monday 8th June. 8pm.

Best viewed from platform near Discovery Caravan Park or anywhere along Goode Street.
Give yourself time before to get the best vantage point.
