Connor from Lucey’s Transport popped in one afternoon on his way back to Townsville to see what all the fuss was about at PFM. After a tour with Mark that Sunday, Connor decided then and there that he needed to bring his brand-new Kenworth 509 in to be fitted out by the team at PFM.

It was a tight turnaround. Connor pulled in with the truck on Monday and was back at PFM on the Wednesday after getting a bullbar and some sign writing done.
Only a few weeks later Connor was off to start work the hooking straight up to 6 decks in the Territory.

It’s pretty cool watching an owner drive out of our shed in their very first brand-new truck. We won’t forget the smile Connor wore that day.

To top it off, we were thrilled to receive photos of the rig all hooked up and looking the part! 😎

PFM isn’t just a family-run business - it’s family built.

From the pit and foundations, to the workshop walls, and the trucks that roll through it every day, family has been at the centre of the PFM journey.

Meet Rob and Annika — two people who have played an influential role in helping shape where PFM is today.

Rob’s construction experience and knowledge have been invaluable, ultimately allowing us to spread our wings with the addition of our dedicated fabrication shed. This expansion means we can continue growing the skills and services we can offer our customers and the wider Pittsworth community - including in-house fabrication, repairs, and laser cutting.

In turn our main shed can remain clean & focus on fit outs and servicing.

Without the guidance, hard work, and expertise of Rob and Annika, we wouldn’t be where we are today.

We’re proud to have them as part of the PFM story.

Our business is driven by passion, pride, and a love for trucks, so it only makes sense to support the biggest truck show on the calendar.

We’re excited, to say the least - but we’ve got plenty of work to do before then, with two full builds waiting for the PFM treatment and set to debut at the Casino show.

We look forward to seeing you all down there 😎

One of the recent big 509’s we have done!!!! And she came up sweet
With our heavy duty rack system all enclosed and dressed to impress 💪
The main aim for this truck was tough and reliable

Heading up to the territory and never to be seen by PFM again we had to push the boundaries with this one
It included a 600m wide rack, 8 x support bushes carrying such as
- Icepack
- 170L hydraulic tank
- Custom made toolbox
- 250L water tank
- Open rattle tray storage

Along with heavy duty drive guards and a full fit out inside and outside it’s fair to say this 509 is built for the toughest terrain

Along with 100L of water under the bunk and a full shower system there’s nothing more the driver needs

Except maybe some chrome
But hey we do a lot more then just bling them up 😀
We build them to the customers spec and support them all the way through
