Hi

Due to Western Power thinking it's a great idea to do maintenance work when people need electricity the most our workshop will have no power tomorrow from 7.30am to 5.30pm.

If you are stuck, call this number 0409707256
Just call in if you need something but we will be pretty limited.

Thank you

Happy September

I said at the start of the year we will be more active on social media but because we are so busy we literally don't have time which I guess is not a bad thing.

Here's some of the jobs we done including an old school Mercedes 560SL with K-Jetronics.
Also a 2 inch lift kit gitted on a newer Q7.
We have a wheel alignment machine too so if you need it done, hit us up.

General servicing
Most mechanical repairs
Now doing small trucks and motor homes.

Free loan cars too.

Another busy month in July. Managed 5 wet welt jobs too. If you know you know ;)

Even mechanics cars can break down:(

This one had a full service history and unexpectedly snapped a timing chain.
$300 tow truck and a replacement engine.
Not cheap.

It's coming up to tax time so if your car, 4wd, van or light truck needs TLC book it in.
If you need a free loan car let us know on booking.

So we have been flat out busy hence I didn't get a chance to announce last month's $500 service vouncher winner.
That goes to Craig Baker. Well done.

If you see one of our loan cars out and about send in a picture of it to be in a chance of this month's $500 voucher. No cheating!!!

Here's a little bit of what we done in the last month from wet belts to mechatronic units and everything in between.
We have expanded to 7 hoists including a 6 tonne 4 poster suitable for small trucks and campers etc so if you need them serviced let us know.

You've heard of a timing belt? Right.
But have you heard of a wet belt?

It's found in many Fords including the best selling Ute in Australia, the Ford Ranger.

This Fiesta had only done 70k and as seen in the pictures some of the teeth are stripped off the belt and got stuck up the oil pick up and starved the engine of oil. It was caught early though.

This is not a typical timing belt job and requires specialist tools and correct procedures.

If your wet belt needs replacing please contact us on 9451 6651

Like, comment and share this to be in this month's raffle for a $500 service voucher.

Congratulations to Michael Mcewan for Feburarys $500 service voucher

We are feeling generous this year thanks to your continued support so we have another $500 voucher give away, all you have to do is post a picture in the comments of a car in traffic with this sticker on.

Maybe next month picture of that car might win a $500 too!!!

It's timing belt Thursday!!!
Both customers assured their timing belts were replaced by previous owners.

We call bullish!t.
During routine servicing we noticed no witness/tool marks on the bolts so we removed the timing covers to check and confirm both were original and well over due their replacement interval.

If the timing belt fails it will cause catastrophic engine failure. The last picture is a 16 year old cabin filter that no mechanics picked up on either.

Trust us at Perth Spanner Worx to give your vehicle a full check over without the snake oil sales. We will email you a quote and wait for your approval.
We also have free loan cars.
