Customer came to us with his low km (48000kms) ve ss ute,

Wanted extra grunt without the bad manners

So harrop 2300 on 6psi was given the nod

Full pacemaker system for the nice note

Std camshaft still in it at factory rev limiter still in place

Crow dual valve spring kit,hd moly pushrods and rocker trunnion kit fitted for reliability

A nice gain of over 200 rwhp with a decent gain in torque as well
All while maintaining low intake air temps as well

Love these harrop blowers,seen these go past 700rwhp,lower boost was chosen as owner wanted long term reliability on standard engine

The clutch starting slipping so that will be next on the agenda

A nice vf gts lsa came to us down of power,

Put it on the dyno came in at 377hp at the tyres(430hp factory)
After careful logging of data we seen intercooler temps of 120degrees!
The intercooler was now a heat brick causing ecu to pull timing

After fitting a new intercooler pump,cam and suitable parts,overdrive setup
Car already had a nice harrop air intake and pacemaker exhaust

Tuned at 12psi gave 566hp so a nice improvement and intake air temps in the mid 40s
So nicer for the engine

A lot of work,good result 6.5 times the factory power output

R and d parts tested win win

280 cubic inch ford flathead v8 (circa 1930s design)

3main to 5 main girdle conversion

Custom cylinder heads with revised chamber and oringing
Dry deck design with 2 peice head for cooling added

Keyway lifters

Custom timing cover with roller cam thrust

Offset drive distributor with modified crank trigger assy ati balancer

Custom inlet manifold

Porting of block custom valve guides and jesel adjustable roller keyway lifters

Screw blower with customer intercooler setup

Ron injection with custom intake to suit airbox in car

Moroso belt drive oil pump and custom sump assy

Interesting to see how this goes on the salt

Salt Coupe's blown flathead engine dyno is done and dusted. We had to switch from unleaded to methanol as we did not have time to sort out the mechanical injection to run on unleaded. Will mean a change of class but not a problem. The engine, with 5 bearing girdle, heads, roller cam and blower intake designed by Time Warp Racing Team, produced 553hp. Thanks to Brian at Outlaw Performance for this awsome engine build and tune. Tomorrow we start putting it in the coupe. We leave in 12 days.....

This nice low km vf gts came to us with a previous lsa engine failure
So we built it
Build iron block combo

Steel crank forged rods pistons

Crow cams hyd roller and valve springs

Johnson lifters

Arp fasteners

Higgins cnc heads
Stainless valve upgrade

Harrop 2650 blower 115mm throttle body and otr upgrade

Love these harrop blowers nice fit and finish performance to boot 3 in as many weeks

Direct clutch twin plate

750rwhp on only 13 psi
Stopping due to tyre issues
Will make more on hub dyno
Atm customer has a well mannered driver on 98 with plenty of room to go and grow
