Sucks a bit that I didn't make this car nice to drive until I was selling it, and that makes me kind of miss it. But then I remember that I got some extra money to put aside, buy a bunch of parts for other cars, and totally not buy another cheap project car almost immediately after (that's just silly, why would I buy another car 👀) and then I feel better

No more monster truck daily-spec fitment on the Vento! I initially wasn't a fan of the dual round headlights on it either, but it's starting to grow on me. Still want to go back to the original front end one day, but for now I can live my Fast and Furious Jetta fantasies 😂

The fact that there were only 150 Linea Rossa editions planned Australia (all naturally aspirated), and I'm probably the only one dumb enough to engine swap it, also helps me appreciated a little bit more.

I've just acquired a truly iconic piece of 90s tech, a bright yellow Blaupunkt Louisiana RCM 148, which I bought for $40 untested. Let's power it up in the Polo in the hopes this retro audio system powers on and becomes a cool addition to the car build.

Don't mind me, just out here making the WORST Polo 6N2 I can

- 8v auto swap
- rusty 6N doors
- speed holes for weight reduction
- brittle af 6N interior
- 6N tail lights that don't fit properly
- 13" steelies for maximum comfort

So good to have this out of the shed and a few hundred back in my pocket 🙌
