Hi Everyone!
We just wanted to say a massive thank you for all your support over the last year! As some of you know we are a small family own business with Trent being the only mechanic and Jayne being part time in the office

We wanted to give you all an update as we have been a-bit quiet on here lately, We are currently in the process of moving our workshop to Malaga over the coming weeks to a smaller unit to restructure the business in hopes to reduce job turn around times as recently we have been experiencing job time frame blow outs due to our own fault of accepting to many jobs

This Ve SS ute was booked in to sort out the noisy lifters and carry out a log book service .

We carried out the following
-Replaced the damaged camshaft with a Crow Cams Australia Pty Ltd camshaft to suit the stock torque converter.
- Ls7 lifters and lifter trays.
- aeroflow billet barbell.
- Trunion bush kit in the factory rockers .
- Chromoly push rods sized for correct lifter preload.
- Roll master timing chain set .
- ls3 style valley plate to delete DOD.
- Cylinders heads were serviced,Decked 30 thou and dual valve springs fitted .
- Resealed the engine using all gm gaskets and seals .
- NGK Spark Plugs Tr6 spark plugs
- VCM Performance Otr and facia covers .
- Refitted the existing complete MANTA Performance exhaust
- DBA - Disc Brakes Australia slotted rotors and bendix ultimate brake pads .

We ended up with a great result with a large increase in power and torque and a nice choppy idle 😎

We had the Bricks Now truck in for some repairs that we picked on our scheduled service .

- Replaced leaking water outlet gaskets and seals , thermostat and flushed the cooling system .

- Replaced all front leaf spring and shackle bushes .

While we had the front tyres off we organised with the customer to replace the front tyres so he can now deliver bricks without feeling like he is driving on 50 cent pieces !!!

This VZ one tonner was bought to us after it decided it no longer wanted coolant inside the cooling system when the water pump failed .

We quickly diagnosed the water pump had failed and carried out an inspection on the health of the rest of the cooling system components and drive belt pulley arrangement.

We completed the following
• Service
• Air filter
• Water pump
• Heater tap
• Power steering pump replacement
• Engine mounts
• Spark plugs and ignition leads
• Rear diff oil
• Power steering oil flush

We had David and Anja’s Vf Ss race car in the workshop to diagnose and fix a very intermittent oil pressure light issue .
Once we were finally able to get the car to fault we begun our diagnostic process . With testing we found that when the light was presented the car maintained good oil pressure so we were able to narrow it down to being an electrical fault . We then stripped off the required parts to gain access to the oil pressure sensor wiring and we were able to find that the wiring had chafed through on the back of the cylinder head causing the fault . We rectified the wiring and reassembled the engine .

This Toyota Supercharged 1GR-FE now has a new lease on life .

This TRD Hilux came in to us to with a serious big end knock and engine rattle .

Upon stripping the motor we found 2 spun big end bearings resulting in low oil pressure .

The low oil pressure caused all of the timing components, cylinder head cam journal connecting rods crank shaft and the engine bearings to suffer severe damage .

We ordered all the required parts including Spool Imports connecting rods , Endurotec pistons and sent the engine off to be machined .

Once the engine was received back from the machine shop we thoroughly cleaned the engine and all of its components prior to measurement and assembly .

All engine clearances and measurements were documents and the engine was assembled torquing all fasteners to spec and following OEM procedures .

To ensure this engine is set up for a long lived life we had the fuel injectors resurrected by Full Flow Performance Injectors
Replacing all filters and engine consumables with top quality and genuine products .

This VF SS wagon came in to us to investigate a missfire/rough idle and an engine tick .

After some investigation we found the misfire to follow the injector. Once we found the misfire we moved our attention to the noise from the motor that sounded all to familiar being a lifter issue , we removed the engine oil filter and found a fair amount of metal. Once the engine was stripped we found the L77 timing chain tensioner had failed and the lifters also being worse for wear .

We completed the following after the customer decided to go down the route of upgrading the camshaft .
•Replaced the camshaft with a Crow cams camshaft .
•Rollmaster timing chain set.
•LS2 style timing wedge .
• ARP cam gear bolts .
•LS7 lifters and gm lifter buckets .
• Crow Cams Australia Pty Ltd pushrods
• Trunion bush upgrade .
• LSXceleration dual valve springs .
• Aeroflow Performance billet barbell .
• GM High pressure oil pump .
• ARP harmonic balancer bolt .
• Billet DOD delete plate .
• 8x new Bosch genuine injectors .
• Cylinder heads serviced and decked to bump up the static compression
• All gaskets and head bolts replaced with genuine gm parts.
• Complete Ultrex performance exhaust system including extractors .
• All engine parts were thoroughly cleaned of all debris .
•Filled with MOTUL Cars Australia 8100 power .

All finished off with a tune from Initial Tuning .

This Vz Ss was towed in to us to investigate the oil presssure light that was unfortunately followed by a noisy engine …

Once we confirmed the engine had low oil pressure we begun our strip and assess of this engine we found it had indeed seen better days with a stuck open oil pump relief valve , all big end bearings having major wear and the bores to have a large amount of wear and scoring .

We rebuilt it opting to upgrade the engine internals with ARP main studs , Spool Imports h beam conrods, CP Carrillo bullet pistons , VCM Performance camshaft, Melling Performance Parts oil pump , Mahale gaskets throughout , Aeroflow Performance billet barbell

This Holden VE E2 Clubsport came in for a service and to investigate a couple of issues the customer had noticed .

Upon investigating the oil pressure light we found that the oil pressure sensor to be reading below the specification and the concerning tapping noise at idle had our fingers pointing at a failed lifter lifter wheel possibly sending metal though the oil pump causing issues with the oil pump .

After stripping the motor and slipping the cam shaft out we found the we found that this custom grind cam shaft had a little less lift on some cylinders than others and the oil pump had swallowed a lot of metal.

We replaced the failed cam shaft with a beautiful Crow Cams Australia Pty Ltd 1287 cam shaft .
Ls7 lifters .
Genuine lifter trays .
The cylinder heads were checked and resurfaced.
LSXceleration dual valve springs.
Brass bush trunnion bearing upgrade .
Genuine camshaft end plate.
Roll master single row timing set .
Replaced the ls3 timing chain tensioner with the ls2 style timing wedge .
Melling Performance Parts oil pump.
ARP fasteners for the cam and crank bolts .
All new gaskets ,seals and head bolts were used to reassemble the engine .

Once it was all back together it was over to Initial Tuning to complete the tune to suit the new cam shaft .

This Clubsport now no longer has oil pressure issues and no more lifter noise !

This Beautiful VF SSV is all finished up and sounding as good as it looks after we sorted out the over heating issue caused by a damaged head gasket and the all too common failed lifters.

As the camshaft had to be replaced we took this opportunity to upgrade the cam shaft to a VCM Performance 5SC cam suiting the stock torque converter and fit all the supporting upgrades as follows .

VCM 5Sc camshaft.
Ls7 lifters
New GM lifter buckets .
VCM pushrods.
Trunnion bush upgrade.
Mellings dual valve springs .
Heads were machined while there were off .
Roll master adjustable timing set with Torrington thrust .
Gm camshaft end plate modified to suit the Torrington thrust .
Mellings standard flow oil pump .
ARP cam bolts and crankshaft bolt.
VCM dod delete plate .
All bolted back together with new gaskets
Filled with 8100 power supplied by

Tuned by Initial Tuning making some great power and torque !
