Little job we did on the weekend! Welded on some 4” exhaust tips on this latest Ford Ranger. Was a pleasure working on this beast, looking forward to seeing it displayed in a showroom and magazine.

A job we finished off tonight, just in time for the client to test it out on his holiday. Natural finish Ali air box with clear lid. Customer supplied a generic filter until his better suited K&N arrives

A little job that we squeezed in this morning. Stainless steel bilge cover for a centre console. Keeps cables separated and reduces the chances of things falling in the bilge while still letting deck water drain.

Today we finished off this stainless rocket launcher job on a refurbished Penguin. Simple design for the era of the boat. We were height restricted and had to account for a Sat compass, deck lights, and anchor light also.
We also fabricated a bow sprit gusset/support to eliminate any movement/flexing while pulling up anchor.
The best thing about this job was the client satisfaction and gratitude!
We couldn’t be happier with final outcome!

Early this week we had a sump repair to do. This consisted of rectifying the previous repair that had failed/still leaked.
•We ground out all defective welds and porosity
• V prepped the original crack as well as drilled a hole at the ends of the crack to stop it from coming back or cracking further
• Prepped all surrounding material prior to welding
• Thoroughly cleaned with solvent multiple times to remove any oil that may have still been in the original crack

The sump was pre heated prior to solvent clean and during the weld process, then we allowed to cool naturally
We carried out a hot root run on the inside first which allowed pe*******on to show through the v prepped side (outside)
Then we welded a main run on the v prepped side following with 2 passes with side of the main run
Afterwards we tied in the two passes with a final cap run
This was a successful repair and customer was wrapped! 👌

Well well well, the wait is over!
Here it is guys, the latest work from JSM Fabrication! We couldn’t be happier with how this all turned out.

•Fabricated all intercooler piping and intercooler modifications.
•Custom air box with clear lid and a large intake duct to draw in as much cold air possible
•Custom breather tank
•Custom 3.5” stainless system turbo back which includes screamer pipe option

Some extra little fab bits to come in a couple of weeks.

A little after work project. Turned an average can crusher into a heavy duty one. Used some 6mm scrap ali for the arms, hopefully the standard metal back plate and crush plates don’t fold next 😂
