This week was busy making two landrover harnesses. One was for a very early S2 88 ex Australian army. Lost most of the military stuff over the years but was asked to make the harness so that the military bits can be added as it is found. The other was for a very late S3. A good week

From this to this and about 6 months work on and off. Well I think its just about finished. Just waiting on a couple of nuts and bolts to replace incorrect ones and a flasher relay as the old one doesn't work. Next week we will try and getting it running. Tested all the electrics and my wiring harness works as it should. Might get to ride it next week. Been 53 yrs since I last rode one. Watch this space

Chrome plating is back from Bali. Excellent job. So the bike is going back to together. Connected up all the wiring and so far all seems to be doing what it should.....so the harness I made was bloody good. It should be its what i do for a living haha. So refitting all the newly chromed parts as well. Almost as good as the bike I bought brand new from Wilderspins in Biggleswade in 1973. Still have to set up front and rear brakes, gear lever and kickstart lever and clutch. Then should be good to try and start watch this space!!!

More challenges this week with the EJ resto. Hanging exhaust was fun......not. But its in and was a perfect fit. Just getting everything to align and making brackets to suit. Battery bracket was missing so made a new one. Made up new battery cables and fitted the battery. Then trying to save the old sound deadening board
