🇦🇺 AUSTRALIAN DIRT KART TITLES 2026 🇦🇺

A big weekend at the Australian Dirt Kart Titles with plenty of work to do across both classes.

125 Medium

Heat 1 threw us a curveball with some issues, then getting turned around in Heat 2 really put us behind the 8-ball early in the weekend. From Heat 3 onwards we got things back to where they needed to be and started moving forward.

A P16 start for the Final turned into a P6 finish, bringing home 7th overall.

Outlaw

A hesitant first heat off the rear ultimately hurt us, but after that we got stuck into it and kept chipping away through the heats.

We secured a P2 start for the Final and came close to getting the job done, but it wasn’t to be, bringing home A2.

Bodi running KT Heavy lacked speed and confidence, making his weekend a little difficult and missing the Final, but we’re happy to have competed in his first Aussie title as a senior.

A massive thanks to everyone who helps make it possible for us to go racing and makes the whole process that little bit easier. We genuinely appreciate the support.

PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT……… With the WA Dirt Kart Titles on this weekend we will be out of contact from this afternoon until Monday the 7th. If you’re heading down to Wagin to watch, race or help out come say hello. Look out for the bloke in a FT’s shirt or hoody and a black Akubra, that’ll be me. Good luck to all the competitors, especially the guys out there running our engines.

HONDA Z50A K1 engine resto. It’s so sick to see it all come together! The customer has gone all out on this little beauty. All oem parts used including new engine covers, vapour blasted everything else, thanks to VapourKote Perth for the top notch work again. This was an enjoyable job.

25 YZ250fx in for some love. Fresh top end, ports completely decarboned and valve seats re-cut and reassembled ready to rock.

1983 IT490 came in pretty second hand. Customer bought it recently and was having a hard time trying to tune it. Turns out the cases were completely broken and had just been metal puttied back together😅🤦‍♂️. So strip and weld/repair crankcases and replace the connecting rod etc at the same time. Turns out whoever built the crank previously had created some more issues with the crank pin seizing on the crank web. Took over 10 ton to get it to seperate even with heat. Anyway we rectified these issues and she lives to fight another day.

Current WA and NT #1 outlaw kart of Nathan Walton in for a freshen up and check over leading up to this years state title in Wagin. Once again, it’s really nice to see the old faces show up and support us again. Thanks mate👊

Blast from the past! Just sorted out a crank seal issue with EVAN FOLEY ‘s 85sx. A few years ago I built this engine for Mason Brown and this thing rips. It’s so good to see old customers and bikes back again. Appreciate the support guys🤙

Another IAME X30 in and out the door. This one came in for quick check over as the customer had just purchased it as a spare engine. Fresh piston, remove and clean the Clutch and Bendix, some fresh oil and a Crofts Racing ignition module relocation bracket.
