PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT……… With the WA Dirt Kart Titles on this weekend we will be out of contact from this afternoon until Monday the 7th. If you’re heading down to Wagin to watch, race or help out come say hello. Look out for the bloke in a FT’s shirt or hoody and a black Akubra, that’ll be me. Good luck to all the competitors, especially the guys out there running our engines.

HONDA Z50A K1 engine resto. It’s so sick to see it all come together! The customer has gone all out on this little beauty. All oem parts used including new engine covers, vapour blasted everything else, thanks to VapourKote Perth for the top notch work again. This was an enjoyable job.

1983 IT490 came in pretty second hand. Customer bought it recently and was having a hard time trying to tune it. Turns out the cases were completely broken and had just been metal puttied back together😅🤦‍♂️. So strip and weld/repair crankcases and replace the connecting rod etc at the same time. Turns out whoever built the crank previously had created some more issues with the crank pin seizing on the crank web. Took over 10 ton to get it to seperate even with heat. Anyway we rectified these issues and she lives to fight another day.

Another IAME X30 in and out the door. This one came in for quick check over as the customer had just purchased it as a spare engine. Fresh piston, remove and clean the Clutch and Bendix, some fresh oil and a Crofts Racing ignition module relocation bracket.
