We are currently seeking an experienced Heavy Diesel Mechanic to join our team on a full time basis. We operate Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturday work. You will be based at our workshop, with on-site work to be carried out as and when required.
Responsibilities/dutieswill include:
· Use and apply knowledge and training to perform mechanical diagnosis, repairs and service on a wide range of equipment and machinery
· Working as part of a team
· Comply with Environment and OS&H Standards
· Liaising and coordinating with clients
· Maintaining a clean and tidy workshop
· Must be able to travel, as required
· Ordering and collecting parts
Requirements:
· Ability to work autonomously
· Ability to work in a fast paced environment
· Be able to pass a Medical including a Drug & Alcohol test
· Be competent in performing routine maintenance on machines.
· Driver License and HR
· Excellent communication skills
· Forklift / High risk work licenses desirable
· Preferred 2years' experience as a Heavy duty Mechanic
· Sound knowledge of Heavy Duty Equipment
· Trade qualification in Heavy Duty Plant Mechanics
· Plant equipment knowledge desirable
