Hey Siri, file this under “things that entirely took too long”

Fusebox relocate, abs relocate, and partial wire tuck are FINISHED and my god i never want to do that again in my life that was SO much work hahaha.

The oil cooler lines will now have LOTS of space in the engine bay to do their thing with risk of rubbing against anything else!

Shoutout to the crew that saw me riding my bike and shouted out “bit slower than the Honda hey!”

You’re probably on here, you probably know who i am, and you probably saw me laugh as i rode past 🤣

I always get so nostalgic looking back on photos of this build.

I’ve owned this car three times, and that third time i bought it back was as a wreck with a blown D16y8 in it.

Six years later, i still wouldn’t call it “finished” - but damn i’m proud of the work that’s been put in to this car.

It’s always interesting seeing pics like this. Like, damn, that was six years ago???? Jeez.

Throwback to that time the Pinkvic wouldn’t start the literal MORNING of the race - so we quickly threw all the equipment in to my Maxpeedingrods Equipped daily driver at the time and still went racing!

D and Garageboyz Drift Spot showed up and basically acted as my pit crew for the day - which was very needed considering that the Sedan was entirely un-prep’d. We threw a set of stickies on it and then hit the track!

Was a bit like driving a small boat, but surprisingly enough the Maxpeeding Rods did a really good job of absorbing the harsh surface which actually helped us set some pretty good times 🤣🤣

Stock D16y4 paired with the long ratio manual transmission certainly made things interesting. But at least i never had to leave 2nd gear 🤣🤣

Shoutout D for also managing to get some prime photos of this carnage

Jeez that took a lot of time and patience 😮‍💨😮‍💨

www.frontyardmotorsport.com.au now has FREE .STL files to suit Hondas!

A large part of my philosophy with Front Yard has always been to try make motorsport more accessible to those on a budget. As i’ve recently been learning to 3d model, what better way to achieve that goal then free 3d print files???!?

All of these are made by myself, and they have all been printed and test fitted so you can be certain they’ll actually work!

Please feel free to share in to your various circles, and keep the free-love going 🤣🤣

Factory block breather delete has begun! I’m using a billet aluminium plug kit that was shipped to me directly from Chengdu city China (which is coincidentally also the rap capital of China, shoutout all my fans).

The factory breather just slots in to the motor and uses an o-ring to seal, so there’s no chance of just threading another block plug in. You’d have to go with a traditional freeze plug / welch plug - which i don’t have the equipment to prepare and install.

This new plug kit uses two o-rings as opposed to the factory one o-ring - so a bit of aircraft sealant on one to keep it in place and then in it goes! Should last much longer.

The block plug directly above it will be removed and replaced with a custom fitting that came in the kit and allows a -10an fitting to be added. My catch can return will be ran to that fitting. Doing this should be more than enough to make sure that i’m not introducing any unexpected crank-case pressure issues.

I also re-sealed and re-installed that block plug that was leaking transmission side. I feel like i see that angle of my engine far too much…..
