Imagine having a weekend out bush camping and handing out chops to everyone on the way home.

Thats what this absolute rig has been built to do. The owner came in recently to fit some tyres but we were quickly drawn to the amazing craftsmanship on this single cab chop 80 series. This 650+hp turbo 1FZ monster belongs to phat customs fabrication and by all accounts it is the perfect tourer, not a single stone has been left unturned with this rig.

Hydraulic lifter usually get left bathed in oil for as long as possible when assembling a cylinder head to the engine block - 10min job to create a vacuum to evacuate the air from within these new lifters using a conventional vacuum pump typically designed for bleeding brake systems - pretty neet hey!

The Japanese Ferrari

Recently we had the pleasure of fitting some tyres and doing a puncture repair on this lovely Honda NSX in a stunning shade of red. These cars were fitted a 3l v6 pumping out an alleged 276hp however track times and numerous butt dynos had owners claiming they made well over the advertised HP figures required to meet the the gentlemen's agreement all Japanese manufacturers had to adhere to in the 90s. Later models featured a 3.2l variant of the same motor that made even more power. It was such a pleasure having this beautiful car at the shop.

So big, its barely fits on the hoist.

This car has been become a bit of a regular here at the shop with the owner coming in a few times recently to fix the various oil leaks and to adress some defered maintainence. This 1967 Cadillac has got to be by far the longest vehichle we have had on the hoists for quite some time now.

This car was brought in last week by one of our DIYERS who were aiming to diagnose some not so good noises from the engine bay. Thankfully it was nothing sinister and this street machine is back on the road.

We had a self service customer in for his own oil change when he queried this noise! We booked it in for a proper diagnosis - took some time to replicate AND observe but we managed to source what we believe was causing the "diff bush clunk" - and hopefully a solve or at the least an improvment!
