When you book your campsites in advance, you never really know what you'll turn up to – although it's hard (or should we say impossible?!) to find somewhere that disappoints, to be honest 😅

Camp in Francois Peron National Park, and these are the kind of sites you can expect. On red dirt and right next to the colourful ocean, with a front row seat to an ocean sunset. Just how we like it!

RedSands Campers is coming to Queensland! 🤠

After years of dreaming, it's finally happening. We're opening a depot in the Sunshine State!

Brisbane, here we come 💥

This one has been a long time in the making. Many of you have ventured into the eastern states with us over the years, and so many more have asked whether we'd please bring a RedSands depot to the east coast. Well, we heard you. And we couldn't be happier to finally say yes!

From 1 July 2027, you'll be able to pick up or drop off your RedSands 4WD, Campervan or Motorhome right in Brisbane. And because we've never been fans of one-way fees, you're of course free to start in one depot and finish in another (and we always love seeing familiar faces in Perth, Broome, Darwin and Adelaide 😉).

Roam the northern half of Australia during the glorious dry season, go for that coast to coast crossing via the south in summer, lose yourself in the beautiful eastern states and Tasmania, or wander into the big skies and red dirt of the Queensland Outback.

However you like to travel, adding Brisbane to the mix gives you even more ways to start and finish your trip wherever suits you best. Want some ideas? We've put together a few of our favourite itineraries, just follow the link in our bio.

What's missing…?!

These two photos were taken in the beautiful Kimberley all the way back in… 2016! Can you believe it?

The design and inclusions of our campers haven't changed much since then. They were very well kitted out back then, and that's still the case today!

Two important things are missing on this 2 Person 4WD Rooftop Camper though. Can you spot them? Let us know what you think they are 😌

Just a few of the things we love most about camping adventures 🧡

We feel pretty lucky here in Australia to have all of this right on our doorstep. That sense of freedom, getting away from the crowds and properly switching off from day-to-day life is hard to beat.
