Gary recently purchased this Vy off of his cousin.
The Last time we saw this car was 2011 when we unlocked the pcm and mafless tuned it.
Fast forward to 2026 Gary dropped it back here for us to go over it, as its been 15 years since we tuned it.

On our roller back then in 2011 it made 410rwhp but had a lsxr and 3.9s.

Today it has 3.46s and a stock ls1 intake. As delivered with our tune from 2011 it made 393rwhp and 564rwnm.
After editting a few tables to suit the swap to the stock intake and 3.46 ratio it responded with 405rwhp and 574rwnm of torque.

Trade customer Ssar dropped off this vf for us to unlock and Re tune the forced induction and cammed L77. Run as deliver...

Trade customer Ssar dropped off this vf for us to unlock and Re tune the forced induction and cammed L77. Run as delivered it made 508rwhp and 665rwnm
Result after tuning the pcm and tcm properly here is Torque and power gains across the entire rpm range. Picking up an extra 40rwhp and 84rwnm of torque. Now producing 549rwhp and 749rwnm.

Matt's Ve Ss runs an L98 travelled 185,000km.Matt asked us To wake up his stock 6ltr .
Upgrades are Faraone engines 36 cam package new lifters and 3200hi stall.
Stepped headers dual 3 inch hurricane exhaust otr and Faraone engine tune.
Result from this mild cam package is very sharp throt response 440rwhp and 860rwnm.

Luke had his vy monaro upgraded with a cam extrators exhaust and tune all done elsewhere.As Delivered his ls1made 376rwhp and 533 rwnm on our hub.
He chose to bring it here for an ecu unlock and retune.
Result from our tuning is gains across the whole rpm range, better drive manners and more power everywhere. Power and torque increasing to 396rwhp and 549rwnm.

Jeremy from SSAR rebuilt this 6ltr while at it he fitted a btr stg4 cam, ported heads , 4k stall .Then dropped it off here for a mafless tune. Result is 455rwhp and 913 rwnm of torque.

A little hit from 2nd to 3rd gear.. 600hp from 6 naturally aspirated cylinders.This old dinosaur Faraone engine consumes all of the E98 that the first of the 2 - . 525 hel cat fuel pumps can deliver. Before calling on the second one.

Some say these 265s are rattly pi1eces of s**t. Truth is all engines are if you dont know how to build them right!
600hp n/a in this genuine big tank E38.5 years running strong after a ton of abuse 8400rpm. Its Time for some maintenance new rods new valve springs and a few other tweaks to push the naturally aspirated hemi 6 boundaries further again.No need for big cubic inches here!
This 291 ci hemi 6 will be put into a silver r/t with a 4k stall and auto to do some 10 second 1/4 mile hits.

John's Clean Ve Gts. Effortless 532rwhp from this stock ls3 with bolt on's.
Upgrades are Faraone engines custom 66 cam and tune combination.
102 throttle body , Otr , electric water pump, 1 7/8 pacemaker headers hi flow cats dual 3 inch exhaust.Lsa injectors and hv fuel pump.

This ls3 has stock heads no porting and has stock compression no decking no valve relieving . Its making decent power for what it is. The Lsa 55lb injectors are at 82 percent duty cycle.

On the road this Gts pulls lengths on other ls3 powered cars we did not spec the cam or do the heads for. We just mafless tuned them worked with what they had..and extracted full potential out of what their catalogue picked combination had in it.

Although some of them had much larger name brand cams with decked heads for more compression and cnc porting.
On the road they don't keep up with this basic stock headed stock compression ls3 combination. Reason is broader average torque curve garantees better acceleration.

Picking a huge cam and or Buying a package on the net does not garantee performance.

Running his existing 1 3/4 headers and pacemaker dual 2.5 inch exhaust. This Ls3 Delivers an Effortless 505rwhp.

Hub Dyno Vrs roller
As we have said since day 1 when we got the first pro hub dyno on the planet... and did the back to back before anyone vrs a roller.
There is no difference when done right up to around 750 rwhp. An incompetent dyno operator trying to read a Hi stalled vehicle with 1000 rwhp and over on a roller is where it all gets lost in translation. Cluelessly expecting it to hook on a roller is what creates all of the bs spread out there about hub dyno inflation.

only to finally wake up and put it on a hub and gain 500rwhp or 1000rwhp...Reason is because it didn't slip.
Amateur's Wake up to your selves! It didn't gain majic power the dyno just harnessed all of what it had the whole time!

Now these are the negligent idiots that misinform everyone and or discredit the results on a hub dyno. Saying you magically make more hp on a hub it reads 10 / 15 percent higher b/s.
Truth is its ignorrance and damage control. They are all Hiding behind the Excuse "my roller reads lower then a hub"
No s**t it does. That's an excuse to justify the inferior result they just delivered to their customer.

Good video big 3 racing proves what we know and proved out in 2013 .
