If your paintwork has bird poo etching, swirl marks, light scratches or water spot damage, those imperfections need to be corrected before any protection is applied.

Tuesday chats with Aaron 🎥

Why prep is key and why we wipe your car down with isopropyl alcohol before applying any ceramic coating.

Think of it like painting a wall. You wouldn’t paint over dust, grease or fingerprints and expect it to stick properly!

After a full decontamination wash and detail and before a ceramic coating goes on, we use an isopropyl alcohol to remove any polishing oils, waxes, silicones, fingerprints or sneaky contaminants hiding on the paint. This gives us a completely clean surface so the coating can bond directly to the paint, not to whatever is sitting on top of it.

Skipping this step would be like putting a bandaid on sunscreen. It might stick for a while, but not for as long as it should!
