Spring trapped in a Showa 47mm tube.

The bolts for the disc protector are longer than the bolts for the fork protectors 😬

So I did narrate this but the microphone was obscured...but the gist of the post is the suspension buzz word "stiction".

It's mostly dry dust seals. Keep them clean and lubricated and you will reduce the majority of your "stiction". And prolong the life of the actual oil seals.

The product placement was completely unintentional but perfect 😂

This shock rebuild kit from .accessoryimports is a cost effective way to renew this 2009 CRF250R shock absorber. It includes a bump rubber, seal head, piston band with O rings and bladder all for $350 fitted and vacuum bled.

Beta's ZF Sachs separate function, open cartridge forks.

kit includes 2 base compression adjusters and a collar to seal the compression side cartridge.

Build two equal mid speed compression and two equal rebound stacks and you now have an equal function open cartridge fork, with compression adjustment at the bottom of both forks and rebound adjustment at the top of both forks, for $650.

Sphere closed cartridges are a great option at $2095 fitted.

KTM, Husqvarna, GasGas linkage shock removal.

Xplor forks as found on Husqvarna, KTM and GasGas.
Single function and not very good at it. Harsh and soft all in one package with poor rebound control.
You can fluff about with springs and shuffling shims until the cows come home.
But the answer is to make them equal open chamber.
Seal the compression cartridge and replace the lump of 💩 in there with a second mid piston assembly.
Replace both compression taps with adjustable units.
Both forks now function equally with rebound on top of both and compression on the bottom of both.
All genuine WP parts valved to suit rider and application. $750
If you want to go to the next step, we highly recommend Dalsoggio Sphere closed cartridges, revalved and fitted for $2095
