How close is TOO close when parking a forklift?

A good forklift operator knows that parking isn’t just about getting the machine into the spot — it’s about making sure:

✅ Forks are lowered
✅ Parking brake is applied
✅ Controls are neutral
✅ The forklift isn’t blocking walkways or emergency exits
✅ The machine is left safe and ready for the next operator

CHEAPER ISN’T ALWAYS CHEAPER! 🔧🚜

You really do pay for what you get when it comes to service, knowledge and experience.

Choosing the cheaper option can sometimes end up costing you far more in the long run.

We recently had a customer who was pulling their hair out after spending over $5,000 trying to diagnose and repair a forklift problem.

The machine had been off the road for weeks and weeks, with parts being replaced in an attempt to find and resolve the issue.

We sent one of our mechanics who specialises in forklifts — because that’s what we do. We’re a forklift company, not a general mining equipment supplier.

Our mechanic diagnosed the problem and had the machine back up and running in less than 4 hours.

Driving with your forks raised is one of the quickest ways to make a forklift unstable. Keep them low when travelling for maximum safety.

Well the AFL home and away season is just about complete. Due to Dockers last home game being round 23 we have got to call the winner to the suite after round 22.
The winner this year is Erin V. With a pretty impressive 141 so far and 2 round to go.
