Heading off on a road trip, hitting the bush tracks or simply making the most of the extra days? A few quick checks before you go can help keep you and your passengers safe.

🛞 A few things you can check yourself:
✔️ Tyre pressures – check when tyres are cold and adjust to the recommended pressure, especially if you’re carrying extra luggage.
✔️ Tyre condition – look for cuts, cracks, bulges or uneven wear, and check your tread depth.
✔️ Lights– make sure your headlights, brake lights, indicators and reverse lights are all working.
✔️ Fluids – check your engine oil, coolant and windscreen washer fluid.
✔️ Windscreen & wipers – make sure your view is clear and your wipers are working properly.
✔️ Spare tyre – check it’s correctly inflated and that you have the tools needed to change a tyre if required.
