Hey all, we would like to let you all know that SCM Automotives & Performance will be changing ownership on the 1st June 2025.

But don't worry, Sandro and Lucas, who you would be already used to dealing with will be taking over the mechanical business and trading as PRE Automotives and Performance out of the same building. (Unit 1, 7 Eureka St High Wycombe) So you won't have to go far to find that same service as you have been used to getting in the past.

Firstly, Charlie and Moreno would like to thank Sandro for the past 15 years, building SCM Automotives and Performance to what it is today. Your passion and hard work has been the reason for such a successful business. We are so grateful.
Our own racing program wouldn't have been successful without all your knowledge and input, engine combos, car set ups and tuning.

While this chapter ends, the bonds and memories we've created will continue.
We wish you both the best of luck starting your own business. It's been a pleasure.

We also want to thank each and every one of our customers for your incredible support over the years. It's been a real privilege to serve our community and racing community.

Thank you again for everything. We wish you all the best.

WA Drag Racing Championship Opener has been run and done.

Steph Gullotto started the season just how she left off last season taking the win in super street, awesome effort after having a few issues in the vn.

Along side her in the final was Daniel Brecich in his first final round appearance, was great seeing him going rounds and congrats on your first final.

Yvette Gregg was back on track, (wheel stands calmed down now) and was great to see her finish runner up in top sportsman after an unfortunate red light.

Also congrats to Kathy Regan on running her first 8 second pass in the vk 8.95 @ 150mph 💪💪

Next meeting is the golden states on November 22nd and 23rd, see you all there

Perth Motorplex Drag racing awards night

Moreno Gullotto 3rd place in Top Comp and also nominated for the Gary Miocevich award.

Steph Gullotto goes Back to back track championships and also takes out back to back event wins in Super Street 🏆 🏆

Steph went into The Nitro max grand final event needing to make it to the 3rd round to win the championship. She did just that and more by taking out the meeting, winning the final against Lisa Garbellini.

Congratulations Steph.
2022/23 and now 2023/24 Super street champion.

Cindy Thompson had a great end to the street season managing to finish 6th. Well done Cindy.

Moreno had an up and down season in Top comp but he managed to finish 3rd in the championship. Looking forward to next season with a few upgrades coming the soarers way.

Congratulations to all our customers also on a great season. Look forward to seeing you all in the new season.

Some great results for the SCM team at the nitro slam event on the weekend.

It was an all Scm and the two girls, Cindy Thompson and Steph Gullotto in the Super Street final with Steph taking the win. Both running on there dial inns made it a great race.
This win also extends Stephs championship lead to 50 points from second place Craig caton. Also with Cindy’s runner up that moves her up to equal 3rd. The last round of the season is going to be interesting.

Moreno got a B final runner up in top comp running a 6.65sec in the soarer, few suspension adjustments for next meet should get this car back running straight and fast again.

The Brecich family also had a good weekend. Daniel Brecich made it to the quarter finals in street and Sini Brecich ran his first 7, 7.98sec in his top sportsman Camaro.

The one downer to the weekend was seeing our good customers and great friends Aaron Sumpton and Yvette Gregg damage that beautiful falcon. So glad you’re ok Yvette and we look forward to seeing you back out there soon.

See you all at the track on April 13th for the grand final.

We had big Kevs BBC on C&Rs dyno yesterday. Running on VP 109, it’s safe to say it’s going to be a fast Top sportsman car. Now to box it up and send it back to South Australia.
