🚗 MALAGA PIT INSPECTIONS — IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT

After reviewing our operational requirements, customer flow, and the ongoing demand for inspections across WA, we’ve made a significant decision regarding how the Malaga Pit will operate moving forward.

From next month, Malaga Pit Inspections will be transitioning to a new assessment model:

SELF‑CERTIFIED VEHICLE INSPECTIONS

That’s right — you’ll now be able to inspect your own vehicle.

Under the new model, customers will complete a short online module, tick a compliance checklist, and submit a photo of their car “looking roadworthy”. Once approved, you’ll receive your certificate instantly, provided the photo isn’t obviously taken at a wreckers.

This change aims to:
• reduce wait times
• streamline the inspection process
• and give drivers the confidence to say “yeah mate, she’s fine” with official backing

Our team will still be onsite for support, guidance, and to politely suggest that maybe, just maybe, cable ties aren’t an acceptable structural repair.

Thank you for your cooperation as we roll out this new system.
