Let there be lights?
Have you seen the light?
Bring the light into people's lives...
and the list goes on.... many sayings and quotes have been related to the incredibly, wonderful, exciting and some ways very personal St George Summer Night Races.
This series may not be as ground breaking as the invention of the wheel, or the invention of the bicycle or the invention of the light... but by all combining all 3 things into one 4 hour period of time late in the evening some 100 years later has definitely created something unique and wanting more...
If you haven't been to watch the under lights road racing motorcycle action, you don't know what your missing...
The high paced event coupled with the personal interactions in the pit garages and some on track... this is a great way to experience this sport in a superb family environment.

The kids can get on bikes for photos, meet the riders .... beware of the one's riding Italian motorbikes... they generally swear at their bikes alot... there is plenty of interactions to be had.
But it all seriousness, there is no better and cheaper way to spend Saturday February 6th from 6.30pm being entertained for 4 hours, then by witnessing these incredible riders racing at Sydney Motorsport Park doing their thing.
All 3 championships are still on the line with the last round about to start... Will BMW reign supreme or will the Yamaha team upset the evening in Black Dog Ride Unlimited Division 1. First 2 races at the last event saw less than 0.060 seconds separating in total... just lucky they both have a bot of white and blue on their bikes...
In PirelliMoto Unlimited Div 2, looks like another BMW is on track to win the series, but a few Kawasaki's and Yamaha's are wanting to change this. If you stand around long enough - an Aprillia rider will say his a chance, but that is 30 seconds of your life that I apologise for...
The PirelliMoto 600cc's races have been seen as the fight between best mates off the circuit, with little then a few seconds separating them over 3 races at the last round.
Within all of these events, there is some many battle packs as they fields are designed for close racing.. so come on down, get close - but not to close and enjoy the wonderful sport and community as we know as Motorcycle Road Racing.
So come along for a look for however long you want, from 1 race to 4 hours... whatever length you choose just come down, you can grab a cold drink to something to eat... Just whatever you do, get there.
