Two tyre stores in the Limestone Coast are now in local hands, with a local family recently jumping at the opportunity to buy.
Joanne Drury and Say Wah live at Worrolong with their two young children and now own and manage both Goodyear Autocare Mount Gambier and Goodyear Autocare Penola, along with Mikey (pictured with Joanne) and his family who live in Mount Gambier.
Say Wah worked at the Penola store from 2019, and when he and his partner Joanne heard both businesses were hitting the market they decided to buy, with Say Wah focusing on the Penola store while Joanne and Mikey manage things in Mount Gambier.
With the previous owners based in Melbourne, Joanne says they're looking forward to building the stores up and improving on the service they provide to help keep locals safe on the road.
"We just want people to know the ownership has changed, we've made big changes already, and we're keeping everything local." she said.
