Unfortunately I have not wanted to post on social media. Regarding the escalating price of fuel, but I believe some things need to be clarified.
- Yes the cost of fuel is hurting

- Yes, the site is increasing the price nearly daily.

- Being a branded site and the fuel cost changes daily. Any Branded card that is accepted on site is paid back at: - “The current day wholesale price plus commission”. All pricing on the retail bowser needs to reflect some of this in the price.

- The wholesale price is literally rising daily. As a business we have no control of this price.
- Since the 1st March 2026 - 26th March 2026, wholesale price has increased over 127c/ltr for Diesel.
- Resulting in a 138 c/ltr retail price increase.
- In this increase the government that you may or may not of voted in is receiving an extra 12.55 c/ltr GST in revenue.
- To keep prices down margins have been reduced. (But please note, as a business we also have bills to pay).
- 27th March 2026 V Power Diesel is $ 3.144 / Litre plus freight to deliver to site.
- Current oil price per barrel does not affect the current price per litre at the bowser.
- I am a business being proactive in trying to stay operational in an environment that is changing daily.
- This is happening Australia Wide. Not just in this little corner of Australia.
- A Business cannot sell items for less than they cost if the business wishes to survive.
- The diesel you are purchasing is “V-Power Diesel”. Not just straight Diesel.
- This is a product that is meant to be better for the engine and fuel efficiency. However, a premium price is paid per litre to obtain.
- As a small branded independent site, I do not have the buying power of larger sites, this affects the buying price.
- YES,I am always trying to obtain a better purchase price for products to on sell.

- I will always look at ways to keep costs as low as possible. Which may include reducing hours of business.

- This will allow us to continue to support local Community and sporting clubs with sponsorship.

- The price on the retail board is the result of all these factors.
