HIGH THERMAL STABILITY
Marine polishing can generate a serious amount of heat, especially when you’re working large panels for extended periods.
The Elite Series foams we have coming have been developed with a far higher density and improved thermal stability, helping it retain its working characteristics for longer rather than progressively softening as the pad heats up.
That means more consistent pad behaviour, more consistent cutting action and less time throwing away pads because the foam has gone soft.
Density: approximately 2 to 5 x the market average
Elongation: far higher
Tensile strength: substantially higher than typical market foams
THE FOAM ACTUALLY BOUNCES BACK
One of the problems I’ve seen repeatedly with polishing pads is permanent compression.
The pad gets hot, gets loaded up with too many residue, worked hard with alot of pressure and eventually starts to pancake. Once that happens, the pad no longer behaves the way it did when you first put it on the polisher
The Elite Series uses an anti-flattening design unique to the pad king which resists loss of firmness
That means the pad can maintain its shape and working characteristics for considerably longer.
