In Adelaide this week for a conference and stumbled across Button Bar Omg ❤️. I was I had been more prepared to buy some things. I did get a few things. Next time I visit SA I will be better prepared.

Oh and to answer a question someone messaged me to ask, I am over here with my Mum (Redgate Quilting & Redgate Socks) and we are here for the MND Australia - Motor Neurone Disease Conference as part of the “lived in experience” attendees.

If you’re in New Zealand and looking for a talented florist who specialises in beautiful silk arrangements, I highly recommend Fleur de Silk. Their stunning, carefully crafted bouquets offer a lasting alternative to fresh flowers and are perfect for weddings, special occasions or simply brightening someone’s day. Be sure to visit their page and take a look at their work.

(Fun Fact: I have known Klartje the owner for many years and you will have often see. Her sister Iris pop up in my photos modelling, she also worked behind the scenes for many years as well)

I just had someone ask if I am still here! Yes we are… well, I am anyway 😅 although I am not as great at posting on my socials these days. ANYWAY.

I have these beautiful photos that I am LONG overdue to share from my past bride Amy. Amy was so much fun to work with and I simply loved the bright colours.

Note the bouquet toss, Amy had a fall apart toss bouquet, where it’s untied as a surprise for the guests and then single roses fly through the air

Thanks Amy for sharing these pics, if you are a past client and are willing to share pics and don't think you have shared them previously (or think perhaps i have overlooked sharing) please reach out, i would love to see them.

We are offline this week and will be delayed replying to messages and emails.

Sadly we lost my stepfather on Sunday after a 2 year battle with motor nuerone disease. Thanks for your patience and understanding at this time.

It is with great sadness that we share that Shane Lewis passed away peacefully at home today in Alexandra (Sunday 19th April 2026), with his wife Marlene Answer-Lewis by his side, surrounded by his dogs and family.

After a two year battle with Motor Neurone Disease, Shane faced everything with courage. While the disease took so much from him, he never lost his sense of humour, which stayed with him right through to the end.

Shane was a much loved husband, father, grandfather, friend. We are incredibly grateful that he was able to be at home, where he wanted to be, in his final moments.

We will miss him more than words can say, but take comfort in knowing he is at peace.

His funeral will be held on Friday 24th April at Murrindindi Chapel, 21 Johnston St Alexandra at 11am, followed by a burial at Alexandra Cemetery.

Thank you to everyone who has supported Shane and our family through this time. It has meant more than we can ever express.
