A very lucky VW Amarok that snapped its belt.
We replaced the alternator and the belt and got him back on the road.
This could of been much worse as we've seen the belt wrap around the timing components and kill the engine.

If you have the means to help someone that's having a horrible day, help them.

You never know what battles are being fought.

In this one we helped a lad who's trailer hitch came out and dropped his boat trailer on the ground.

Just to clarify a few things.
He still has the pin, but I know where he lives.
We've organised a catch up so I can grab it back.
I won't be accepting any payment because that's not the reason I helped out.
If he insist then the money will be put towards our next free service or works as we love helping our community and will continue to give back to the people who need it.

Someone tried covering up this cover issue.
Broken bolt and glued back in. 🤦‍♂️

When we did the service last month we found the wheel nuts were incorrect for the wheels fitted.
One in particular couldn't be removed.

Fast forward to replacing the brakes and we had to get it off.

We spent a good amount of time drilling the wheel nut through the stud to remove it.
Replaced the drilled stud with a new one and fitted new 19mm head wheel nuts.
So in the future it doesn't happen again.

Often times things go wrong and you've only got yourself to sort it.

VERY COMMON ISSUE WITH SUBARUS.

FRONT LOWER CONTROL ARM BUSHES.

THE BUSHES ALLOW TOO MUCH MOVEMENT, WHICH CAUSES THE FRONT TYRES TO WEAR UNEVENLY AND ALSO PROVIDES A CRAZY VIBRATION AT HIGHER KM.

VW Golf with 425k.

We were called out because the electric power steering wasn't working.

Found out the battery was replaced as the old one died which logged low voltage codes.

Cleared codes and tested vehicle and all is good again.
