Today we custom-made and replaced Paul’s caravan awning skin.

After more than 10 years of exposure to the Australian weather, the original awning had started to delaminate and become brittle, so it was definitely time for a replacement.

We carefully removed the old awning skin, cleaned the roller drum, and fitted a brand-new premium awning fabric. As part of every awning reskin, we also:
✔ Re-tension the awning
✔ Lubricate the spring ends with WD-40
✔ Check everything is operating smoothly before it leaves the workshop

We only use premium-quality awning fabrics featuring:

✅ Anti-fungal protection
✅ Fire-retardant material
✅ UV stabilised
✅ Full blockout
