Established in 1976, the Yakkerboo Festival is a family friendly community festival held annually. Festival details at yakkerboo.org.au Mr. P.B.

Yakkerboo has a question mark for a tail as everyone wonders what he is. His name is an aboriginal word meaning 'greener pastures'. For those unfamiliar with it, the Yakkerboo Festival is like a mini Moomba. The festival kicks off on Saturday night with carnival rides, food trucks, live music and fireworks! Sunday is the main festival day with the Parade where floats from local schools, kinders an

d community groups are followed by a Cavalcade of Unique Vehicles. Ronald reserve then hosts a family fun day with market stalls, carnival rides, food trucks and loads of entertainment. Sunday rides are sponsored and so for a small fee you can buy a wristband to 'ride all day'.

🎉 Introducing the Yakkerboo Committee for the 2027 Festival! 🎉

We're excited to introduce the incredible volunteer committee who will be working behind the scenes to make the 2027 Yakkerboo Festival an amazing event for our community.

A huge congratulations to our Executive Committee: President – Meagan, Vice President – Debbie, Secretary – Jeanine and Treasurer – Maree.
