The DOT LP6 isn't just another light, it’s the first road-legal headlight kit engineered to drop straight into your Wrangler.

Forget working around the factory setup. This is a genuine replacement featuring integrated high and low beams, precision optical cutoffs, and dual white/amber daytime running lights. Fully FMVSS 108 compliant, it delivers 3,480 raw lumens on low beam and 5,280 on high, giving you professional-grade performance that’s completely street-legal.

To round out the build, we’ve added S1s and S2s to the bumper and pillars to eliminate dark spots when the terrain gets technical.

Dust is the honest test. Amber scatters less than clear, so the beam pushes through instead of glowing back at the windscreen, and that is the entire case for running amber up front on a truck that works in dry country. One straight road is all you need to see the difference a properly set-up lighting package makes. Rather than creating one bright patch directly in front of the truck, the setup gives you a much more even spread across the road, verges and surrounding trees. That wider, more consistent field of light is what makes a big difference when you’re driving roads like this after dark.

Planned, not bolted on afterwards. Five amber LP6s sit low across the grille of this Carli-built F-250 Super Duty, with amber Squadrons in the fog pockets and dedicated scene lighting across the canopy for when the work starts after dark.

This is the difference amber can make once you’re actually out on the track. It’s not just a colour choice. In dust, fog and rain, amber can help reduce reflected glare, improve contrast around the edges of the track and make long nights behind the wheel easier on the eyes. Most Baja Designs lights are available in both clear and amber, so you can build the setup around the conditions you actually drive in. The perfect weekend vehicle, ready to go and find some tracks. More lights doesn’t automatically mean better visibility. Sometimes the best setup is knowing what to leave switched off. In this reel, the truck is working through a tight bush track with the amber S8 and a pair of Squadrons up front. The LPs and roof lights stay off because in close bush, too much forward light can create hotspots and make the track harder to read. When it’s time to find camp, check the sides of the vehicle or see what’s moving around you, the rack-mounted and rear canopy S2s can be switched on separately. The rear lights also double as reversing lights on their own circuit. That’s the advantage of wiring a lighting setup properly - you can choose exactly what you need for the conditions in front of you. How have you got your lighting circuits set up?

Day 2 and we’re ready for another massive one. 🔥

We had an unreal amount of interest in our Baja lights as well as the Method Race Wheels and Aluminess products yesterday, and it’s been awesome finally getting these products in front of more of the Australian 4WD community.
