Meet Mat,

Mat joined the team a few years ago as a 2nd year apprentice, he worked hard at trade school seeing him finish ahead of time, which then allowed him to be signed off early and become a qualified mechanic 👍

We are so proud of Mat and the great mechanic he has become. We have loved watching him grow, learn and really shine. From the quiet, shy guy at the start, to loud and funny with the cheekiest smiles, always cracking a joke and loves to take up the bosses car park spot when he is out, telling us he is the boss 🤣👍

Mats showed interest in what it takes to manage and run a workshop and has recently started taking small steps into learning whats involved.

Thanks for all your amazing hardwork Mat,
your an absolute ripper 👍

It's finals week 🥳

Massive congratulations to the under13s Orbost Snowy Rovers kids...
They have made the 1st semi final playing this weekend against Lucknow @ the bairnsdale oval.

Although many of you know this guy below,
Thought it was time to introduce the faces of the workshop to any new customers we might have & also give Will a shout-out for all his hard work 👍

Will is the youngest of the crew and has been around for years & we absolutely love having him.

Will started out as our floor sweeper, finished year 10, then started his apprenticeship. He worked hard at trade school and finished early, which then allowed him to be signed off 8 months ahead of his time👍.

Will is now a fully qualified mechanic and we couldn't be more proud of him.

He is always smiling, has amazing work ethic and is an absolute ripper to have in the workshop. Will managed to break his ankle at the start of the year and after a few weeks off he said "can't believe I'm saying it, but I actually miss work" 🤣
He got promoted to the office so he could put his leg up & when the time came to move back out on to the tools he said "I never want to be stuck in the office again" 🤣

If you pop by, you might be lucky enough to see his smiling face and most likely hear him belting out a tune or 2 🎶 🤣👍

News is finally out.....
Kayla and i are thrilled to announce we are expanding our business and have purchased Orbost Tyre Service.

Looking forward to taking over very soon and would like to wish Karen and Tony all the very best on their upcoming
re"tyre"ment 🤣

We will be continuing with all your mechanical needs at Merlin Motors in Stanley Street as per usual 👍

We can't wait to continue to bring Orbost and surrounds the very best customer service and we have some new and exciting things to be able to offer.
