Finally after many months since we did the attempt we have finally received official confirmation that we have brocken the previous world record.
The Aussie Bandit is now the Guinness world record holder for the longest Wheelstand by a car. Old record 760mtrs new record 1331mtrs.
Almost double but only stopped with 3 mtrs to spare so very good result.
I must admit I am so pleased as I have been trying to find a venue for 6 years that was long enough and would actually allow us to do the attempt.

On track again this weekend at the Adelaide 500
Still waiting for our acknowledgement from Guinness word records for the 1331 mtr long Wheelstand beating the old 760 mtr record.

World Record Achieved! Driven by Nigel Benson at a speed of 183 km/ph in less than a minute...
1327 metres, 4419 feet.
Guinness Book of Records proud achievement.

Some Aussie Bandit Footage from my World Record Attempt on the weekend at the Mildura Airshow on the weekend.
So now you can see what I see then the wheels are in the air. 1327 metres (4419 feet) in under a minute at 183 klms/hr top speed.
Now we wait for Guinness World Records Confirmation.
