Don’t worry this is the boss’s son, no need to call work cover on us, he’s just learning how to change a tyre with dad

Great to get out to Collingrove Hillclimb for their Media Day! 🏁

There’s something pretty epic about a venue with this much motorsport history behind it … and even better to hear about the big vision for what’s ahead.

An iconic piece of South Australian motorsport, right here in the Barossa, with plenty more to come.

We’re excited to see what the future holds for Collingrove and the events that’ll be hitting the hill. 🏎️💨

The relationship between our lead tech and apprentice has been… interesting to watch. 😂

One day they’re best mates.
The next, it’s a scene straight out of Step Brothers.

“Did we just become best friends?”
“YEP!”
…until someone disagrees with the other one’s diagnosis. 😂

But at the end of the day, as long as the job gets done right, we don’t really care who gets to say “I told you so.”

Just another day at Garage 22. 🔧

Our signature colour might be orange…

But there’s been a suspicious amount of yellow getting around the workshop lately. 👀💛

So naturally…

SPOTTO! 👊😂

Anyone else physically incapable of seeing a yellow car without saying it?

Same car. Same transmission. Very different oil. 👀

This Nissan Qashqai came in for its scheduled transmission service …. and this before & after is a pretty good reminder of why those service intervals matter.

Transmission oil doesn’t stay fresh forever. Over time it degrades and picks up contaminants, which means it can’t protect and lubricate everything inside your transmission as effectively as it should.

It’s easy to put servicing off when the car still feels like it’s driving fine… but preventative maintenance is a whole lot cheaper than waiting until something goes wrong.

Stick to the service schedule. Your car (and your bank account) will thank you.

When the 2-hour job enters hour 7… 👀😂

Unfortunately, cars don’t always read the job card.

Sometimes what looks like one straightforward issue turns out to be a little more complicated once we get in there … or we discover another 1, 2… 3 problems contributing to it.

Trust us, none of us want to spend any longer on your car than absolutely necessary. 😂

We’ll always do our best to keep things moving and keep you updated along the way if a job is taking longer than expected.

Because sometimes “should be a quick one” are the most dangerous words you can say in a workshop. 🔧😅

"Backwards."

"Yep."

"No, the other backwards."

😂😂😂

At this point Aaron and Matt our lead tech communicate almost entirely in mechanic telepathy.

The scary part is... it works.
