Hitting the road this Easter? Make sure you check these three things before you set off –

1️⃣ Check your oil level and top up if needed.

Don’t start your car if there’s no oil on the dipstick! Your car’s owner's manual will let you know the correct oil grade.

2️⃣ Check your tyres are at the right pressure level.

You can find your recommended pressure level on your tyre placard. And don’t forget to check your spare!

3️⃣ Check your tread depth.

Anything below 1.6mm is unroadworthy. To check, place a 20c coin into one of your tyre's central grooves and ensure the tread obstructs the platypus’ bill. If it doesn’t, there’s less than 3mm of tread left and it’s time to book in a tyre replacement.
