Who knew 2 posts in 1 day…
Here we have dans FG aka MAP6
What started off with cleaning up some things and putting a basic set of wheels on, turned into this…
Dans car came in already running a Haltech plug and play with a basic harness. We fitted one of our sensor looms with a few more sensors for some added usability and safety. Dan also wanted the new UC10 dash so we had to accommodate.
We also gave the old mild th400 a new life giving it the parts needed to hold over 1000hp!
Dan said to us he wanted this car to look the meanest it could rolling down the road so we went down the path of putting some 15 inch WELD Racing wheels on the back of this thing. No these did not just bolt on. This whole ass end is a NAC special! All fabricated rear arms, built diff, heavy duty axels. These bits allow us to have this thing sitting perfect 👌 Not just sitting perfect this thing has been performing beautifully.
We have then gone on to clean up dans engine bay with all new powder coated components, a Platinum Racing Products rocker cover, a plazmaman.com inlet manifold and a new airbox made by the man himself 🫶
Another thing to add for all the Barra people out there, this car still retains VCT even with the upgraded camshafts! The VCT allows the car to maintain down low perfromance and up top power without compromising drivability, fuel consumption and vacuum (brake booster performance).
MAP6 ended up making a staggering 1124hp at the hubs. Hopefully this can tie dan over until we finish his other F6?……
We have a few more titanium goodies to come in the near future for MAP6 so keep your eyes peeled
