The Falcon GT Owners Club of NSW Bathurst weekend was nothing short of an absolute success once again.
Late September brought on some perfect weather for the Friday and Saturday parts of the weekend and while Sunday was a little cooler with drizzle it didn’t seem to make much of a difference to the remainder crew that chose to stop off at the Zig Zag Brewery on the way home.
Overall though it was an excellent time for all involved. The early bird Friday lunch at The Tarana Hotel gave all out fillings a workout and an excuse to wash our cars in Bathurst. Friday nights dinner was exceptional at BTown BBQ inside The Oxford Hotel and as you have seen the cruise on Saturday around the track was perfect.
After that we re gathered to make a fly by on a good friend of one of club members who was waving so hard as we passed, he almost fell out of his wheelchair! We then hit the road to the Carcoar Royal Hotel where we shook the dust off the eaves of the historic buildings before parking out the back and having yet another awesome pub feed and Ian Cobb was awarded Car of the Run by the publican.
From there we headed back to the The Panorama Hotel Bathurst for dinner, where Ian and Mauriza took out best dressed for the Black & White Themed evening and the raffle went off without a hitch.
This wasn’t a very late night and in the morning we all went in a few different directions with some of us heading to Zig Zag Brewery and others home.
