⚠️ New Content is Uploading on the Channel! And this time it got real for us FAST! 🚑

If you've been on the powerlines, you already know things can go wrong out there and it finally did for our little family.

It was meant to be a simple behind-the-scenes Powerlines V 4x4 planning trip and video. But a split second, an emergency dash to hospital and surgery has changed one of our lives forever.

Unapologetically trash, the Boganero is a mix of ARB’s most disgusting bar, mismatched spare rim, drinks oil as fast as Trump finds it, 90’s style cool-guy exhaust, a rear door that leaks and an interior held together with tek screws!

It’s still done more offroading than my other rig this year which is exactly 10.9x the cost of this Marketplace skip bin! 😍

Yesss! One of my favourite turnouts of the Powerlines IV event was Aaron and his VW Touareg! He took home one of the $100 fuel vouchers sponsored by Northam GWM. for most unique 4WD on the day. Congratulations! ⛽️

Now I’ve been a secret admirer of Touaregs ever since the V10 made its way onto TopGear back in the day and Aaron commented on one of the many pre event posts and I’d hoped he’d turn up.

Now I hope to see the Touareg at Powerlines V, only to tell everyone to checkout the setup in the back of this rig! Aaron will show you the mental custom snorkel.. it’s the reel I was impressed with.

Anyways, very impressive build! I’ll stop now, I have a Pajero that’s drinking oil at an alarming rate to go top up!

From Boganero wheel lifts to medical emergency, the Powerlines hit us hard this weekend.

While out scouting for the Powerlines V event and doing some behind-the-scenes footage we had a medical emergency that we immediately knew need urgent care and surgery.

Years of first aid training meant we were able to effectively isolate and preserve the injury and basic knowledge of the area meant within 45 minutes of the incident occurring we were able to be in triage at Emergency.

Hand on heart I’ve treated the Powerlines as a playground for years, heard the stories, but never experienced them. Now that we have its highlighted how quickly things can turn and go wrong.

As such we’ve reached out to St John to see if we can organise some vouchers for first aid training and give them away at the Powerlines V event!

Additionally we might as well have a crack at getting in touch with any and all first aid kits suppliers to see if they’d consider supporting the Powerlines V giveaways too. If anyone knows anyone in the First Aid kit line of work feel free to give them my details. 😁

We’re in and out of specialist appointments and hospitals for the next few days. Fingers crossed we’ll be back on the tracks soon post surgery... I’m fine, Mrs Dicey Ricey is not. She will be though. Perhaps I should find some flowers instead of event giveaways. 💐
