Yeah science! Nulon additives under the microscope!

As many of you will have noticed, I get my hands on samples from time to time and then promptly give them away.

It’s high time I started checking this stuff out for myself though and today I put the lab coat on and engaged science.

Slightly uncontrolled in that 59L of diesel, so 59kgs, was added to Potato for the second 0-90 run. I’m sure we’ll all survive! 😂

A trio of cars are coming Dicey Ricey’s way to test out for some YouTube reviews and I want to know what you’d like to know? Serious and silly questions alike. 👌

We’re gratefully getting our hands on the new 3.0L Diesel Engined 2026 GWM Cannon Alpha and 3.0L 2026 Tank 500, both extremely exciting vehicles and long in need of a strong powerplant.

And then there’s the 2026 GWM ORA 5 which is a little off niche for Dicey Ricey Offroad but having driven a few EVs and PHEVs for reviews now I’m interested to see if this is another city-bound EV or have we got ourselves a genuine contender for rural Australia?

I’ve got my own investigations for these cars but I’m keen to read some questions and see if I can get some answered in the videos.

Solar is done on Potato’s Budget Build! No more flat batteries! Now I guess we turn attention to a better rear setup.. at the moment we’ve got a 65L Fridge bolted to some 3mm MDF and everything else piled next to it. 🤩

Thanks to Ben from Osborne Park 4WD and Joel from Morley 4WD for advice and shoutout to Avon 4WD Centre for getting wiring concealer ASAFP out to Northam to counter my inability to plan! Appreciate it guys! 🤙

Potato will be up in the Midwest next weekend and we’ll try out the new setup with a bit of beach camping and a drive with some of the Geraldton 4x4 crew I reckon! Potato’s first time on the soft stuff. 😬

As many of you know I’ve been behind the scenes with FBR - Falconbridge Racing for their state title winning season in WA V8 Dirt Modifieds and it looks like we’ll be along for the ride this season too!

Pedersen Motorsports is formed around two sisters whom are the prodigy of FBR 88 Driver, Raz. Last year I saw the effort and encouragement for Lillian to get the car built and on track. This year we’ll get to see the sisters go head to head! Haha, that’s a competitive dinner table right there!

There’s a chance to get behind both girls and get your name/business behind the two youngsters. No pressure or anything, I just think it’s cool to see the next gen getting into Motorsport!

Good luck to both girls this coming speedway season. Perhaps you two can teach your dad how to tighten nuts properly!
