Our comprehensive services include: premium engine oil replacement, Ryco oil filter, thorough tyre, brake, and suspension inspection, fluid checks, battery assessment, and a full safety inspection plus a detailed diagnostic report. If additional repairs are required beyond the standard service, we'll contact you to discuss options. Regular servicing is crucial for safety, preventing costly issues, ensuring reliability, and maintaining your vehicle's resale value. Fist day back for the new year! We hope you all had a great Christmas and celebrated going into 2026.

We were lucky enough to go away for a few days, lots of relaxing with family and friends. The boys headed off in different directions, camping on the Murray and the high country. They loved it but who wouldnt!

Hopefully everyone’s cars behaved themselves while we were on holidays. If not give us a call or pop into the shop and we’ll check it out.

We’d like to take this opportunity to thank all of our beautiful customers for their support this year. It’s been a tough one for many and we are grateful for your loyalty and smiling faces.

If you’re lucky enough to be going away over the holidays be safe and take care on the roads.

We’re hoping to head off a little early this Friday and back to work on Monday 5th Jan.

FULLY QUALIFIED MECHANIC JOB OPENING IN WORKSHOP IN NORTH GEELONG!!

JLC Automotive & JLC 4x4 is seeking a fully qualified Light Vehicle mechanic to join our small team full time. We are located at 1 Kelly Court, Bell Park.

About us –
We are a family owned and operated business. We are 4x4 enthusiasts, with a love for all things 4x4 and camping. With that, we love working on, repairing and restoring 4wds. Whilst 4x4s are a large part of what we work on here at JLC, we also work on a range of cars and love the custom muscle/classic car scene. At JLC we value honesty, respect and putting 110% effort into everything we do!

Key responsibilities of the role –
- Completing comprehensive servicing and maintenance on a vast range of vehicles
- Trouble shooting and complex repairs of various vehicle systems, including engine, brake, suspension, transmission and drive line systems.
- Using diagnostic equipment and expertise to identify and resolve automotive issues.
- Installing and advising suspension upgrades.
- Fitting and balancing tyres, for both car and 4x4s.

Job requirements –
- Completed certificate in Light Vehicle Mechanical technology or equivalent.
- Must hold a current Australian driver’s license.
- Must have a reliable vehicle to get to and from work
- Extensive knowledge in a wide variety of vehicles, and an open mind to expand your knowledge.
- Excellent communication skills and a strong work ethic
- Reliable and punctual individual
- Ability to work in a small, close team environment.

Above award rate wages and opportunities for overtime. 8:30-4:30 Monday through Friday.
