This isn’t new. It’s history.

NASCAR wouldn’t even let the Ford 427 SOHC "CAMMER" run when it showed up too strong. Banning it before it even hit the track.

Bob Glidden dominates Pro Stock with Ford power…
and suddenly the rules tighten up around him.

Ford GT40 goes 1-2-3 at Le Mans…
and not long after, engine limits come in.

Now fast forward—

Snot Rocket.
FORD Coyote power.
And once again… the conversation shifts.

Not about catching it.
About controlling it.

At some point you’ve gotta call it what it looks like:

Big things happening behind the scenes at RK Garage.

We’ve been building, refining, and pushing forward — and it’s time to make it official.

RK Garage is now RK Auto Innovations.

Better me. Same passion. Just a sharper direction.

We’re stepping things up with more services like modification plates, road worthy certificates and A/C work. My focus is still on custom fabrication, engine and diff conversions, performance work, as well as still carrying out general mechanical work and diagnostics.

This name reflects where we’re going and the standard I’m setting.

I Appreciate everyone who’s supported me along the way - plenty more to come as it’s just the beginning.

Due to unforeseen circumstances I’ve had to head back out to the fifo life.

What this means is that I will only have very little time in the shed when home to complete the work. I will not be shutting the doors but just taking a step back.

Sorry to all those this has and may affect but bigger and better things will come.

I don’t normally share mechanical work because it’s boring but Waz’s 69 Camaro is post worthy.

It was a simple task of replacing the blown out intake orings from a backfire but I also found a damaged injector oring causing a monster fuel leak that i believe caused the backfire.

Update on the Wb.

Recently fitted some new chromoly suspension arms,
Coilovers, Wilwood hubs, brakes, master and proportioning valve, rack and pinion and new wheel tubs. Bent up some brake lines and modified the subframe and sump for clearance.

Almost time to fab up some 2-1/4” primary stainless headers for the big 598 dawg.

Recently completed Will’s BA NA 5 speed to FG turbo 6 speed. Will supplied a Fg turbo engine, tr6060 and a l*d m86 diff....

Recently completed Will’s BA NA 5 speed to FG turbo 6 speed.
Will supplied a Fg turbo engine, tr6060 and a l*d m86 diff. We then carried out the required mods to the engine, that being some arp head studs, crow valve springs and some billet oil pump gears. Other bolt on’s fitted were a new psr 3584, ross balancer, 1000cc injectors, gfb 44mm external wastgate, gfb drop in reg, walbro 460, 4” dump pipe to twin 2-1/2 exhaust, npc clutch and a set of tuff mounts.

Now off to for a tickle on the keyboard and this thing will be one fun daily.
