A fork conversion is not about chasing a look.

The point is a front end that works better. Better damping control. More stiffness where it matters. Less dive under braking. Brakes and fork hardware that make sense on a bike built to be ridden now, not 40years ago.

Once you start changing the front end, geometry comes with it. Rake, trail, offset, sometimes wheelbase. That is why these conversions need to be engineered around the frame and donor. Not mixed and matched until something bolts together. Our 6 Series kits are built for classic BMW K-series and R /7 bikes, and Honda CB and CX-era frames, using proven USD donors like CBR,GSXR, and R1. Modular triples, pressed stem, greased bearings, bar and dash mount options. Designed and tested in Melbourne.

We've been working through two of the most involved builds we've done. A K100 that started as a brief and turned into something worth documenting. A CB750 that's been a long time coming. Both are almost ready to share properly.

There's a lot to show you over the coming weeks. We're glad to be back.

A new electrical tray was fabricated for the cb750 along with a battery box to suit. The cb750 will be keeping the original side covers that came on the bike, so the OEM battery location suited perfectly but some rearranging of things was necessary to make all the hardware fit beneath the seat. The battery is being upgraded to lithium so to ensure she stays charged the regulator rectifier is being replaced to suit the battery. The CB will also get a M.unit for all that Moto gadget goodness.

Taking the new toy for a spin, definitely helps speed up workflow and get rid of user error….well some user error while also introducing a whole stack of new errors to make. It is also pretty damm fun to use. This plasma cutter is going to have its work cut out for it……

You asked so we got it done. The BMW r100 electrical tray kit is live on the website. These trays mount to stock frame holes under the tank and have space for the Moto gadget m.unit. these come with the general hardware so you can get to wiring your bike up ASAP (Electrical components and Moto gadget accessories not included). If you have any questions drop them in the comments below otherwise head to the website and order while stock lasts, we don’t have a lot of these but if there's enough demand we will produce more.

Now that we know the CB750 runs, it's time to start tearing it down and getting into the fun stuff like cutting the frame, bending the rear hoop and adding all the goodies this bike is going to be getting. Keep your eye on this build, it's going to be a good one.

Taking massive steps forward on the k100. Front end swap is done using our signature triple clamp fork conversion kits. Rear sub frame is tacked in place and we have started to shape the rear cowl. Starting to also mock up a belly pan. Everything is coming together, stay tuned for where we head with this build.
